Letters to my body after remission

Letters to my body after remission

Dear body,

I'm sorry for the years I saw you as an enemy. For every mirror that felt like a betrayal. For the anger I carried when you were only trying to survive.

Breast cancer taught me that you are not my opponent—you are my home. Every scar is a sentence in our shared story. Every breath, a second chance.

I'm learning to speak to you softly now. To feed you with intention. To move you with gratitude. To rest you without guilt.

Thank you for holding me through the hardest season. I will spend the rest of my life earning your trust back.
